EU Special Representative for the conflicts in the South Caucasus to visit Baku
EU Special Representative for the conflicts in the South Caucasus and the crisis in Georgia, Philippe Lefort, will visit Baku next week, Turan was told by source in the EU. The purpose of the visit is to discuss the Karabakh issue.
Currently Lefort is in Armenia, and today he was received by President, Serzh Sargsyan.
According to the press service of Sargsyan, the sides noted the importance of measures aimed at building confidence in the process of Karabakh settlement. Philippe Lefort has also confirmed that the EU supports the work of the OSCE Minsk Group on the settlement the Nagorno Karabakh conflict. -02D-
