EU Special representative P.Lefort in Baku
The EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and conflicts
in the region, Philippe Lefort today met with President Ilham Aliyev.
The theme of the meeting was the current situation around the Karabakh conflict settlement and in particular, its aggravation in connection with the pardon of Safarov, according to diplomatic source.
Similar issues Lefort discussed two days ago in Yerevan with Armenian President and members of the public.
Today, the Ambassador Lefort has a meeting with representatives of civil society and the head of the government of Azerbaijan.
