On September 13 President Ilham Aliyev received Maxime Verhagen, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Economic Affairs, Agriculture and Innovation of Netherlands.
Aliyev expressed satisfaction with the development of bilateral relations in various fields, including political, economic, transportation, and other fields. The meeting also noted the work of Dutch companies in the energy, transportation, infrastructure, investment, and the prospects of further cooperation.
Today Aliyev received the credentials of the new Ambassador of South Korea, Choi Sook-Yin.
Today , the president Aliyev received George Friedman ,the founder and executive director of the U.S. analytical center «Stratfor». During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on US-Azerbaijani relations, cooperation between the United States and analytical centers of the USA and Azerbaijan. —06D-

From 19 to 26 July, 24 automatic rifles, 1 machine gun, 9 rifles, 28 grenades, 441 shells, 3118 cartridges of different calibre and other ammunition were found in Khankendi, the Azerbaijani Interior Ministry reported. During the mentioned period, the police found 1 machine gun, 50 grenades, 7 fuses, 3 shells and 320 cartridges of different calibre in Shusha.

President Ilham Aliyev has approved by decree the Azerbaijan-Kazakh intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in military intelligence defense sector. The document was signed in Baku on 7 June 2024.
