Former Deputy Defense Minister Fuad Mammadov Died
Baku / 10.08.20 / Turan: On August 10, former Deputy Defense Minister, Lieutenant General Fuad Mammadov died of heart failure, the press service of the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said.
Born in 1968, Mammadov graduated from the Riga Higher Military Aviation Engineering School in 1990. Since 1992, he served in the Azerbaijan Air Force, where he rose from deputy squadron commander to deputy commander of the Air Force.
From August 2015 to July 8, 2020, he served as Deputy Minister of Defense for Logistics. -02D-
