France is a bad adviser – Ilham Aliyev
Baku/20.11.23/Turan: Azerbaijan has been waiting for a response from Armenia on proposals for a peaceful settlement since September 11, Head of State Ilham Aliyev stated at joint briefing with Iraqi President Abdullatif Jamal Rashid on Monday.
"We are waiting for comments on our proposals from Armenia. We have repeatedly exchanged proposals on the draft peace treaty. But now, since September 11, we have been waiting for a response from the Armenian government for more than two months, but we have not received a response," he said.
According to him, the reason for this is "bad advice" from France. "France plays a very destructive role in the South Caucasus. In fact, Armenia has become a puppet of the French government, and this is a serious threat to regional stability. We don't need a war, but the government and the political establishment of Armenia are thinking about revenge. The false promises of the French government create an illusion in Armenia that they will be able to launch a new aggression against Azerbaijan," Aliyev said.
By arming Armenia, France will not help Armenia. If Armenia decides to start a new war, the result will be the same. No one will help them, as it was before," Aliyev stressed. -0-
