Georgian president will visit Gakh region
Tbilisi/11.02.14/Turan-BS PRESS: On February 12-13 The Georgian President, George Margvelashvili will pay an official visit to Azerbaijan. According to the press service of the President of Georgia, Margvelashvili will meet with President Ilham Aliyev , after which the two leaders will issue a joint statement.
The Georgian President will also meet with Prime Minister, Artur Rasizade, and chairman of the Azerbaijani Parliament, Oktay Asadov.
On February 13 Margvelashvili will visit Gakh region, where a meeting with the ethnic Georgian population is planned.
The Georgian delegation also includes members of parliament, the Security Council secretary , head of the presidential administration, and the Secretary to the President for External Relations . The delegation will return to Tbilisi on February 13. -02D-

On Monday, the Baku Appeals Court considered the appeal of Talysh researcher Iqbal Abilov against the extension of his detention for another four months. The defense argued that the decision to extend Abilov's detention was unjustified, lawyer Fariz Namazly told reporters.
