German Embassy rejects Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry's accusations of financing “Abzas Media”
Baku/28.11.23/Turan: The German Embassy in Azerbaijan rejects the accusations of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry of illegal financing of the online publication “Abzas Media.” These charges were brought today by the head of the diplomatic missions of the United States, Germany and France. In this regard, the German Embassy issued the following message:
"We regret that the information disseminated by some media outlets is inaccurate, as we explained today in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan to a high-ranking official who took note of it. The German Embassy constantly supports Mohammed Kekalov and his social responsibility to people with disabilities, including a financial contribution of 1,500 euros for a fashion show organized by KEKALOVE ADAPTIVE on the occasion of the International Day of People with Disabilities on December 3, 2021 and most recently at the German residence in May this year.
We are very concerned about the allegations against Mr. Kekalov and expect that he will receive a fair trial," the report said. -0-
