This is stated in a government press release distributed on the evening of February 27.
An expert group of specialists has been created to take preventive measures and carry out monitoring throughout Azerbaijan.

"The sanitary-epidemiological situation in Azerbaijan is under serious control, at the moment there are no cases of infection among the population, there are no reasons for concern," the statement said.
The headquarters decided to deploy mobile emergency hospitals at the Ministry of Emergencies at checkpoints on the border with Iran. All those entering Azerbaijan will undergo a preliminary examination in these hospitals. If symptoms of the disease are identified, individuals with suspected corona virus will be sent to hospitals under the supervision of doctors.
The Food Safety Agency (FSA) of Azerbaijan is also taking urgent measures to prevent the spread of corona virus. The laboratories of FSA verify the quality and safety of imported, exported and manufactured products in the country.
The Central Veterinary Laboratory of the Institute is provided with all necessary equipment, facilities and professional personnel to maintain epidemiological and epizootic stability in the country.
To protect against infectious diseases and prevent the spread of diseases, the Agency calls on citizens to comply with food safety standards. -02D-
