Baku/14.09.21/Turan: On September 13,presidential aide Hikmet Hajiyev met with the Iranian Ambassador to Baku, Seyid Abbas Mousavi.
"We held productive discussions on issues of bilateral agenda and had talks on future prospects," Hajiyev wrote in his micro-blog on Twitter following the meeting.
"I am satisfied with the meeting with the aide to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. We discussed the development of bilateral relations and issues of common interest," Musevi wrote on Twitter.
In spite of the fact that the parties did not detail on the talks, it is obvious that the situation around the illegal transportation of Iranian heavy trucks to Karabakh was discussed at the talks.
In order to establish control over transportation, since September 12 Azerbaijan began checking Iranian cars traveling along the section of the Goris-Kafan highway passing through Azerbaijan and collecting customs fees from them.—06D-

From 19 to 26 July, 24 automatic rifles, 1 machine gun, 9 rifles, 28 grenades, 441 shells, 3118 cartridges of different calibre and other ammunition were found in Khankendi, the Azerbaijani Interior Ministry reported.
