I. Aliyev signed an order to accelerate the economic development of the liberated territories
Baku/10.12.21/Turan: On December 10, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed a decree "On a number of measures to accelerate the economic development of the liberated territories."
According to the document, the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan was instructed to prepare and submit proposals to the head of state within three months on the application of tax benefits, social insurance and other privileges in order to ensure the effective use of economic and labor resources in the liberated territories.
The government is also instructed to prepare proposals for the creation of infrastructure for the processing industry and services. In addition, the document further says, within these terms, tax and customs benefits should be determined when entrepreneurs import raw materials and goods for organizing production in the liberated territories, as well as benefits for businesses in public services. It is also planned to establish quotas for labor migrants and specialists who will be involved in work in these territories and to improve the procedures for issuing them work permits.
In addition, the government was instructed to take within three months: measures to expand the access of entrepreneurs operating in the liberated territories to financial resources and provide them with the necessary state support.
Support is also provided for investors who plan to use environmentally friendly technologies, sources of "green growth" and renewable energy (RES) in these territories. It is also planned to develop a partnership in the "state-private sector" format in the construction of residential areas in the liberated territories. — 06D-

On January 15, the Tbilisi Court of Appeals rejected the appeal of Afghan Sadigov, the founder of the Azel TV website, who had protested his extradition to Azerbaijan. Sadigov’s wife, Sevinj Sadigova, stated that this was the final judicial instance in Georgia making a decision on the case, Turan reported. On January 15, the Yasamal District Court rejected the motion to change the detention measure for Azer Gasymly, the director of the Institute of Political Management, his lawyer, Agyl Laidj, to Turan. "Azer Gasymly stated during the trial that the charges against him were fabricated and related to his socio-political activities," the lawyer said. An appeal will be filed against the court's decision.
