Ilham Aliyev accuses the Bundestag of the performing the political order
President Ilham Aliyev called the Bundestag resolution on "Armenian genocide" a great injustice and a manifestation of double standards. "This is injustice, double standards and distortion of history. We cannot put up with it. Diaspora organizations are instructed to act together with the Turkish Diaspora. We need to show unity ," Aliyev said on Friday at a joint press conference with Prime Minister of Turkey Binali Yildirim.
"The resolution has the character of the political order. Apparently, they want to force Turkey to something, to influence its independent policy. The Armenian issue is only a pretext, a tool in the hands of the great powers," said Aliyev. He further recalled that on June 12 last year, Azerbaijan also faced the "injustice" on the part of the Bundestag, when a resolution "based on lies about the alleged violation of human rights in the country" was adopted. Those who take the resolution against Azerbaijan and Turkey make a great historical mistake, said Aliyev.-06D--
