Ilham Aliyev received Romanian delegation
Baku/23.06.22/Turan: Prospects for the development of relations between Azerbaijan and Romania were discussed on Thursday at a meeting of President Ilham Aliyev with a representative delegation from Bucharest.
The talks were attended by Romanian Energy Minister Virgil-Daniel Popescu, Agriculture and Rural Development Minister Adrian Ionuts Quesnoyu and Romanian President's Special Representative for Strategic Affairs Ana Birchali.
The talks focused on the development of cooperation in the energy and agriculture sectors, as well as energy supply, food security, application of new technologies and electronic systems in agriculture.
The parties exchanged views on the possibility of implementing joint economic projects in the future, as well as on the agenda of the meeting of the intergovernmental commission.-06B-

Speaking on November 22 at a press conference in Baku, German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock responded to a question about whether Berlin would provide "Taurus" missiles to Kyiv after Russia's use of ballistic missiles against Ukraine. "Therefore, this question cannot be answered with a simple 'yes'," she said.
