Ilham Aliyev received the Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia
Baku / 04.04.19 / Turan: On Thursday, Ilham Aliyev received the Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia Denis Manturov.
During the meeting, Aliyev noted the strengthening of bilateral relations, the development of cooperation in various directions, the growth of trade.
He expressed satisfaction with joint projects in the field of mechanical engineering, stressed the importance of financing large industrial enterprises in Azerbaijan by Russian banks.
In turn, Manturov said that common projects provide a solid basis for expanding economic cooperation. He emphasized the importance of cyber security in the development of economic cooperation.
Touching upon the significance of the Azerbaijan-Russia industrial cooperation forum, the minister said that over 60 Russian companies are participating.
They also discussed the prospects for cooperation in petroleum engineering, the joint production of agricultural machinery and freight cars, the creation of a service center for helicopter maintenance, the production of medicines and other areas, reported the presidential press service. -02D-
