Ilham Aliyev receives congratulations on the occasion of Independence Day
Baku/27.05.22/Turan: On the eve of Independence Day, which Azerbaijan celebrates on May 28, the head of state Ilham Aliyev receives congratulations from foreign leaders.
On May 26 congratulations came from the Presidents of Russia, China and many other countries.
Vladimir Putin said in his message that "Azerbaijan enjoys well-deserved authority on the world stage and plays an important role in tackling many topical issues on the international agenda. We note with satisfaction the high level of Russian-Azerbaijani relations. The Declaration on allied cooperation signed in February will undoubtedly contribute to qualitative improvement of bilateral relations in all spheres, which fully meets the interests of our friendly peoples".
Chinese leader Xi Jiping noted in his message that "Chinese-Azerbaijani relations are steadily developing on a healthy basis. Political mutual trust between the two countries is deepening, cooperation on the joint project "One Belt, One Road" is actively advancing, and interaction in the international arena is becoming closer".
Recall that US President Joe Biden was the first to congratulate Ilham Aliyev. It happened back on May 20.
On May 28, Turkish President Erdogan will visit Baku and personally congratulate the people of Azerbaijan on Independence Day.-02D-
