The new ambassador of France Aurelie Bouchez today presented his credentials to President Ilham Aliyev. Noting that the relations between Azerbaijan and France are "at a very high level," Aliyev pointed to their dynamic development "in many areas." Referring to the two visits of the President Francois Hollande in Baku, the President noted the importance of mutual high-level visits. The Ambassador, in turn, praised the stability and religious tolerance in Azerbaijan, adding that it can serve as an example for Europe. The sides exchanged views on the settlement of the Karabakh conflict and cooperation between the two countries in various fields.
