In his speech, Aliyev spoke about the country's economic achievements over the past 18 years: the volume of investments amounted to $ 280 billion (half of which are foreign), strategic foreign exchange reserves are 6 times higher than the external public debt.
External debt accounts for 17.3% of GDP, and the unemployment rate fell to 6%.
Then he spoke about the results of the Second Karabakh War and the surrender of Armenia. This year alone, $ 1.3 billion has been allocated for measures to rebuild destroyed cities and infrastructure in the liberated territories, and so much will be allocated in 2022.
An important point is the creation of the Zangezur corridor. “This new transport infrastructure will become an important part of the East-West and North-South corridors. I am sure that the ECO member states will use this corridor,- ”Ilham Aliyev said in conclusion. -02D-
