Ilham Aliyev will pay an official visit to Austria in 2013
The Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev will visit Austria next year on an official visit. This was reported by the Austrian ambassador to Azerbaijan Sylviya Maer Kajbic on October 24 at a reception on the occasion of this country's holiday - the National Day of the Republic of Austria.
Earlier, in October 2011, Azerbaijan was visited by the Austrian President Heinz Fischer, which marked the 20-year background of the official relations.
The ambassador said the bilateral trade and economic relations are developing dynamically. However, she pointed out that the sponsor of the reception on the occasion of the National Day of Austria is the company OMV represented in the consortium Nabucco and the famous company Red Bull.
For his part, the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Huseyn Bagirov conveyed greetings on behalf of President Ilham Aliyev and the national government.
He said that Azerbaijan is interested in the development of comprehensive relations with Austria. -- 06D -
