Two People Killed in Yesterday"s Crash on Outer Ring Road
During yesterday evening's chain accident on the outer ring road in the Yasamal district of Baku two people were killed, said the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
According to the official report, passenger cars Mercedes, VAZ, Opel, Tofash and Gazelle, a truck Ford, a Mercedes passenger bus and a minibus Hyundai collided. After the clash the cars caught fire.
Fire fighting personnel of the State Fire Rescue Service found the burnt corpse of the Mercedes passenger bus driver. The number of injuries has not been reported.
Meanwhile, City Clinical Center N1 reported that because of the accident the hospital received six patients. After the due care, 5 of them were released. Currently, the hospital takes care of the sixth victim. -06B-
A large fire on the outer ring road at the northern entrance to Baku
Major fire occurred as a result of a severe accident on the outer ring road near the village Baladzhary (the road connecting the route Baku-Sumgayit with the village Lok-Batan and the shopping centers Bina and Sadarak). The accident occurred around 22:30 in a collision of Shuttle N 194 with several cars. The shuttle and another car burned. The glow from the fire lit up the whole neighborhood area, the correspondent of Turan reported. The flames could be seen from the bus station of Baku, which is about 1 km from the scene.
Several fire brigades and emergency teams arrived at the place.
After 40 minutes, the fire was localized and almost extinguished
