Iran appoints new consul to Nakhchivan
Baku/10.01.24/Turan: Tehran has appointed Aziz Mansouri as the new Consul General of Iran to the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan. On Wednesday, at a meeting with Mansouri, before his departure to Nakhchivan, the Iranian Foreign Minister Amir Abdollahian "stressed the need to develop cooperation between Tehran and Baku," IRNA news agency reported. Aziz Mansouri presented a report on plans for the period of work in Nakhchivan.
Previously, Mansouri served as head of the Department of Financial and Trade Cooperation, Energy and Transport of the Iranian Foreign Ministry. -0-
