Islamists in Lankaran are convicted on probation
Today Lankaran court sentenced a group of believers, accused of connection with an incident at a local mosque "Husseinia", Ilkin Asadov and Ibrahim Azadov.
Both defendants were found guilty of hooliganism and sentenced to three years imprisonment with two years on probation, Turan was told by lawyer Anar Gasymly.
The defendants were released in the courtroom. The convicts have pleaded not guilty, and will appeal.
