Japanese Embassy Celebrates Emperor’s Birthday
Baku / 28.02.20 / Turan: On February 27, the Japanese Embassy in Azerbaijan held a gala reception on the occasion of the national holiday of the country of the Rising Sun - the Birthday of Emperor Naruhito. His birthday, February 23rd, is celebrated as the Emperor’s Birthday.
Japanese Ambassador Katori Teruyuki, speaking at the event, touched the upcoming Summer Olympics in Tokyo, noting that Azerbaijan will perform at these Games with a record number of athletes.
Speaking on behalf of the Government of Azerbaijan, Minister of Ecology Mukhtar Babayev noted the high level of bilateral relations, which creates favorable conditions for the development of cooperation in all areas. He emphasized that Azerbaijan and Japan contribute to the protection of international peace and security. -16D06-
