Joint exercises of the border vessels of Azerbaijan and the Russian Federation
Baku/07.10.23/Turan: The Russian border vessel "Rasul Gamzatov," under the leadership of the Deputy head of the Border Service of the Russian Federation, Head of the Coast Guard Department, Vice Admiral R. Tolok, made a "friendly visit" to the Baku port on October 4-6, the message of the State border service (SBS) Azerbaijan.
The Russian delegation was received by the head of the State Border Service of Azerbaijan, Colonel-General Elchin Guliyev. The meeting noted the successful development of cooperation between the border structures of Azerbaijan and Russia, including in the field of border security in the Caspian Sea, protection of biological resources, combating illegal activities, and exchanged views on the prospects for cooperation.
On October 6, with the participation of the border patrol vessel "Rasul Gamzatov", ships and boats of the Coast Guard of the SBS of Azerbaijan, the rules for detecting illegal activities in the Caspian Sea, the pursuit and detention of a conditional target were worked out.--06в---
