Baku/24.07.23/Turan: Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has dismissed Khalaf Khalafov from the post of Deputy Foreign Minister. By another order of the head of state, Khalafov was appointed a representative of the President of Azerbaijan on special assignments.
Khalafov is a career diplomat. For more than 25 years (with a short break) Khalafov held the post of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs. At the same time, he also carried out the mission of the Special Representative of the President on the Caspian Sea and border issues.—16В-

"The parties discussed the current situation in the South Caucasus and neighboring regions.
