"Komsomolskaya Pravda" exposes Armenian fakes
Baku / 30.09.20 / Turan: A detailed article was published in yesterday's issue of the Moscow newspaper MK.ru, exposing the Armenian false information about an Armenian plane allegedly shot down by a Turkish fighter and Syrian mercenaries in Azerbaijan.
On September 29, the Armenian Defense Ministry reported that a Turkish F-16 fighter allegedly shot down an Armenian Su-25 in RA airspace. This information was denied in Ankara and Baku.
The information of the Armenians does not agree with the data of air resources such as the Flight radar 24 portal, which would record the transfer of any fighter units from Turkey to Azerbaijan, and with geography. It is enough to look at the map to understand that the Turkish aviation, if it wished to strike at the area of collisions from its bases, would have to shoot missiles through the entire territory of Nagorno-Karabakh, or the space of Armenia and Iran.
Another used "proof" of direct involvement of Ankara in the conflict is the data on Turkish unmanned aerial vehicles in the conflict zone. The argument sounds no more convincing than the previous one: the Bayraktar TV2 UAVs, developed by Turkey, are indeed involved in the conflict, but the very fact of their presence in service with the Azerbaijani Air Force was not a secret, writes mk.ru.
The author of the article explains the appearance of fakes by the fact that the Armenian side, since the moment of aggravation of the situation, has been trying to present the spiral of escalation as the result of the policy of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, but in reality, the evidence of this turns out to be ordinary propaganda stuffing.
Yerevan mass media and Armenian politicians are engaged in spreading lies. On September 29, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, in a broadcast on the Moscow First Channel, told lies about Syrian mercenaries who had fought with local residents in an Azerbaijani store. Data on Turkish and Arab mercenaries are published in various media, without serious confirmation.
The article calls into question the effectiveness of these fakes, replicated in order to force Putin to fight on the side of Yerevan. Such attempts are doomed to failure and present the situation as a conflict between Turkey and the Russian Federation.
“The prospects for Russia's military intervention in the region under the pretext of a strategic confrontation with Turkey are minimal (if it’s appropriate to talk about them at all). Several years ago, Moscow and Ankara managed to overcome the consequences of the incident with the Su-24 shot down in Syria,” writes mk.ru -0-
