Baku/14.09.22/Turan: The day before, the Presidents of Azerbaijan and France, Ilham Aliyev and Emmanuel Macron, had a telephone conversation.
During the conversation, which took place at the initiative of Macron, he expressed concern about the fighting on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.
Aliyev, for his part, said that the responsibility for these large-scale provocations lies with the military-political leadership of Armenia, and Azerbaijan is taking retaliatory measures.
During the conversation, the importance of ensuring sustainable peace and security in the region and continuing the peace agenda was stressed.
When it cmes to the fact that France is bringing the issue of the situation on the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan to the UN Security Council, Aliyev stressed the importance of holding unbiased discussions. -06B-
