Maria Zakharova commented on the behavior of Moscow in the case of counterterrorist operation in Karabakh
Baku/06.07.23/Turan: Moscow is extremely concerned about the frequent cases of violations of the ceasefire regime between Azerbaijan and Armenia and calls on the Azerbaijani side to "unblock the Lachin corridor", to ensure the unhindered movement of citizens, vehicles and cargo along it for civilian purposes, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry stated today.
Commenting on Moscow's possible behavior in case if Azerbaijan conducts a counterterrorist operation in Karabakh, Zakharova noted that Russia's actions "will correspond to the development of the situation" and "will be in line with the agreements that were reached by the three sides.
Answering the question of an Armenian journalist about the statement of the leader of the Karabakh separatists Araik Harutyunyan that Lachin and two villages of the region were returned to Azerbaijan "ahead of schedule" at the suggestion of Russia, Zakharova said that she was "unfamiliar with these statements, as well as with the mentioned positions," and the route change occurred following the results of coordination in a trilateral format. ---06B---
