Baku / 03.09.20 / Turan: On September 3, a meeting was held in Baku between the Deputy Defense Ministers of Azerbaijan and Russia, Kerim Veliyev and Ruslan Tsalikov met  in Baku.

The parties discussed issues of bilateral cooperation in the military and military-technical spheres, stressing the importance of its further strengthening, the press service of the Defense Ministry said.

Veliyev noted the importance of the settlement of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict within the framework of the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, based on the norms and principles of international law.

In turn, Tsalikov stressed that the two countries are linked by historical roots and are strategic partners. Such meetings also play an important role in the development of Azerbaijani-Russian relations. -02D-
