Ministry of Internal Affairs: We Didn
Baku /24.10.19 / Turan: Five days after the dispersal of an opposition rally in Baku, with mass beatings and the arrest of more than a hundred people, the Interior Ministry decided to express an attitude.
On October 24, information appeared on the Interior Ministry"s Facebook page saying that on October 19, the police "within the law" prevented "possible confrontation between people" and "gross violation of public order".
"Individuals filming the actions of the police subsequently edited what was happening with the events in European countries and distributed them on social networks. After that, special groups began to write insulting and slanderous statuses under these shots," the Interior Ministry said.
At the same time, the Ministry of Internal Affairs "heartily" thanked the citizens who do not believe in this slander and promised that it will remain "the only hope and protection of citizens", and vowed that it will continue to act, despite the accusations from "screamers". - 02D-
