Morningstar: Political Will is Necessary for Dialogue
USA is ready to continue peace efforts in resolution the Karabakh conflict, said American Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Richard Morningstar in his role of co-chair of OSCE Minsk Group, during an interview with "Voice of America"
He acknowledged disappointment with the activities of the OSCE Minsk due to the lack of results over the past 20 years, but added that what is really important is the will of the parties, and not the format of the talks.
"I know there is frustration in the process of the Minsk Group, but I also want to ask the question: Is the format of the negotiations important? The important point is the existence of the political will of the parties to reach a final settlement. In any situation they should express a constructive attitude to the very complex issues," said Morningstar.—06D—
