National Council accuses the official Baku of arbitrariness
The National Council issued a statement condemning the attempts of official Baku to destroy the free media, the institute advocates. The statement noted that the Bar Association deprived of membership Alaif Hasanov and Baghirov Haladdina based on political orders. Thus, the authorities want to leave people without the protection, and destroy the institution of independent lawyers.
The National Council also condemns the government pressure on the family of Yafez Akramoglu, the employee of Radio "Azadlig." The authors of the statement call on official Baku to stop this lawlessness. -05D04-
