Diplomatic Academy will train veterinarians and livestock expert?
Today Azertaj state agency published a report on the signing of a memorandum of understanding on training specialists by the Diplomatic Academy and the Ministry of Agriculture. According to the same source, the Diplomatic Academy will train specialists for the Ministry of Agriculture. Such a message could be accepted as an April Fool's joke, but in the middle of summer, it is perceived as absurd. Azertaj quotes the ADA Rector Hafiz Pashayev, who said that in accordance with the decree of President Ilham Aliyev, the year 2015 was announced the year of agriculture, indicating t the state care in this area. "It needs educated people, and we commit ourselves to train them for the Ministry of Agriculture," said Pashayev.
In turn, the Minister Heydar Asadov, noting the concern of the state about farmers and allocation of loans, noted the need for new educated staff, and their training in the ADA is very important. It is not reported what specialist will be trained for the Ministry of Agriculture in the Diplomatic Academy.
A Diplomatic Academy created in 2006 has been preparing all these years diplomats. In 2014 the status of the Academy changed, and it became known as the “University ADA”, where the main activity is the training of specialists in the sphere of foreign policy. According to Wikipedia, under the ADA, there are four institutions: for public and international relations; Institute of Information Technology; School of Business; Institute of Arts and Sciences. Which of these institutions will train veterinarians and livestock experts is difficult to understand. But according to Minister Heydar Asadov, it will be experts of "international standard". The attempts to get comments on the matter in the ADA were futile. -02В-
