Next Meeting of Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia Can Be Held in Moscow
Baku / 05.04.19 / Turan: The next meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia, most likely, can be held in Moscow. This was stated in a conversation with journalists by Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov in Moscow on Friday.
He said, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov expressed his readiness to take part in this meeting.
According to Mammadyarov, during a meeting with Lavrov on April 5, they "discussed in detail the settlement of the Karabakh conflict."
Mammadyarov noted Lavrov"s interest in the soonest resolution of the conflict.
Referring to the Vienna meeting of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Mammadyarov noted that, on the whole, it showed that "although it is difficult, contact points are being groped." "Naturally, no one expects this to happen quickly," the Minister noted.
In his opinion, if Armenia does not improve relations with Azerbaijan, then it has no future. "Armenia is talking about new economic projects, but almost no one is left there, all the smart people have left the country, so with whom will Armenia carry out the economic revolution, and for whom?" Mammadyarov stressed. -06d--
