Now it will be easier to develop a peace agreement – Ilham Aliyev
Baku/29.09.23/Turan: After the events of September 20, it is time for the representatives of Azerbaijan and Armenia to sit down and work together on a draft peace agreement, the head of state Ilham Aliyev stated in Zangilan on Friday.
"Azerbaijan has restored its sovereignty, so it will be easier to find a solution and sign a peace treaty. After that, or in parallel, we need to work on the delimitation of borders and put an end to the long-term confrontation," Aliyev said, speaking at the national urban planning forum in Zangilan.
"We want peace in the Caucasus, and it is achievable, the choice is up to Armenia," he said. ---0---
