Officials detained in Jalibad, Terter and Yevlakh in corruption case
Baku/02.08.23/Turan: Over the past few days, on charges of bribery and corruption, the prosecutor's office has detained employees of the executive authorities of the Jalilabad and Terter regions, as well as employees of the Yevlakh region central hospital.
According to the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office, chief architect of Jalilabad - Sahil Ganbarly, chairman of the Jalilabad municipality Mehdi Kerimov, chairman of the municipality of Uchtapa Amrah Guliyev, chief architect of the executive power of the Tarter region Tofik Kerimov and officials of the Yevlakh region central hospital are accused of taking bribes and fraud when using their official duties.
It is to remind that over the past few years, several heads of executive power, heads of a number of departments and other officials have been arrested in Azerbaijan on charges of bribery and corruption. However, no corruption in the country has decreased.

On July 22, the President of Azerbaijan signed a decree on amendments to the Regulation "On the ASAN Viza system". The changes affected the list of data required for foreigners to obtain an electronic visa through the ASAN Viza system. Thus, foreign citizens no longer need to enter information into the system about whether they visited Karabakh and other regions of Azerbaijan occupied by Armenia after 1991.
