Pashinyan's party approved the new concept of the Karabakh settlement
Baku/29.10.22/Turan: On October 29, at the congress of the ruling “Civil Contract” party in Armenia, the New concept of resolving the Karabakh problem was approved.
The vice-speaker of the parliament Ruben Rubinyan, speaking at the congress, said that the unsettled relations with Turkey and Azerbaijan are "a source of constant threat to the security of Armenia, which must be eliminated."
“We are convinced that the way to ensure the security of Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh is to develop a formula for coexistence with all countries of the region, primarily with Turkey, Azerbaijan, Iran and Georgia.
Armenia should not be considered a source of threat to its neighbors, and its neighbors should not be a source of threat to Armenia," - Rubinyan was quoted as saying by "Armenpress" agency.
“As for the Nagorno-Karabakh problem, the party accepts a new concept for its settlement. If earlier the status of Karabakh was considered a priority that ensures their rights and security, now the security and rights of Armenians are considered a priority and the status is withdrawn from the system of these guarantees,”- he said.
The establishment of peace is named one of the 3-d priorities of the party for the period until 2026.-02D-
