Personnel cleaning in Defense Ministry
Following the Defense Minister, replaced in Azerbaijan was also the commander of the Air Force. Appointed to this position was Major-General Ramiz Tahirov, who also received the post of Deputy Minister of Defense.
Prior to this appointment Tahirov served as Deputy Assistant to the President on military matters, and before that he served in the Army Air Defence. As commander of the Air Force, he changed Altai Mehdtiyev.
From his post was also dismissed the Chief of Inspection of the Defense Ministry, Major General Mahammad Beydullaev. In his place was appointed a national hero, Colonel Fahraddin Jabrailov.
According to the Doctrine Center for Military Journalism Studies Doctrine, in the near future Deputy Defense Ministers, chiefs of a number of departments and the commanders of several major units will be replaced. -06D -
