At today’s meeting of the Bloc of Political Parties "Karabakh" decided to demand the resignation of, Ramiz Mehdiyev, the head of the Presidential Administration.
According to the information from the Bloc, Mehdiyev is responsible for aggravating the socio-political situation in the country, which took place after video materials on Mehdiyev’s involvement in corruption were published.
Videos placed by Elshad Abdullayev online, should be objectively studied by law enforcement bodies, and as a result, make serious decisions.
Without violating the presumption of innocence, members of the unit believe that it is not acceptable for Mehdiyev to stay as head of the Commission Against Corruption, and should resign.

President Ilham Aliyev has approved by decree the Azerbaijan-Kazakh intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in military intelligence defense sector. The document was signed in Baku on 7 June 2024.
