Nigar Yagublu is sentenced to 2.5 years
Trial in the Absheron district court in the case of Nigar Yagublu, youth activists of the "Musavat" party, finished today. She was accused of an accident on August 25, as a result of which Aydin Adjalov, a member of the Assembly of "Musavat" party, died.
Despite the fact that at the trial, Adjalov’s son confirmed the absence of complaints, because the accident happened negligence, the prosecutor asked the court to sentence Yagublu to four years in prison. The court decided to sentence Yagublu to 2.5 years of imprisonment, and a ban on driving license for two years.
Previously, lawyers Nemat Kerimli and Adil Ismailov told Turan, that the court failed to prove the guilt of Yagublu. In particular, the role of two other cars VAZ "2106" and VAZ "2107" in the crash was not investigated, and no car-technical expertise was conducted. –06B-
