President of Azerbaijan Arrives in Georgia on Official Visit
The Azerbaijani governmental delegation headed by President Ilham Aliyev arrived on November 5 in Georgia. The delegation was met at the airport by Vice Prime Minister Kakha Kaladze.
From the airport, Aliyev went to the memorial of those who died for the territorial integrity of Georgia, and laid a wreath.
During the visit, Aliyev will meet with the President of Georgia Giorgi Margvelashvili, the Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and the Chairman of Parliament David Usupashvili.
Ilham Aliyev will visit Marneuli, where he will meet with ethnic Azerbaijanis living there.
During the meeting, the Presidents of Georgia and Azerbaijan are expected to sign a declaration on deepening bilateral relations in the fields of politics, security, economy, transit, culture, education and science.
Then the Presidents of Azerbaijan and Georgia will make a joint statement to the media, Georgian media report. -02D-
