Prosecutors Sealed Offices of University of Free Thought
On Wednesday, the prosecutor general's office sealed the office of the University of Free Thought (UFT), located on the fifth floor of the shopping and business center AF Mall the at 34 Samad Vurgun Street.
This is stated in the statement of UFT, which is a project of the youth organization OL. UFT executives are trying to establish reasons for closing the office.
In connection with the closing of the office the designated for 11 April lecture on translation issues in literature has been postponed until April 11. Other activities were also postponed indefinitely.
Attorney General's office has not commented on the closing of the trigger.
UFT has been functioning since October 2009 The purpose of the project is to create conditions for youth to acquire knowledge about the values of democracy, free discussions. As part of the project every Tuesday and Thursday there are held two-hour interactive lectures.
