Representatives of the Red Cross visited the arrested separatist leaders
Baku/24.10.23/Turan: ICRC staff visited the leaders of the Karabakh separatists held under arrest in the State Security Service of Azerbaijan, Ilaha Huseynova, a representative of the ICRC Baku office, told Turan.
According to her, face-to-face meetings were held with the arrested and an opportunity was created for contacts with families.
It should be recalled that after the anti-terrorist operation on September 19-20, former "presidents" of Karabakh were arrested in Karabakh and brought to Baku: Arkady Ghukasyan, Bako Sahakyan, Araik Harutyunyan, former "Foreign Minister" David Babayan, "speaker of Parliament" David Ishkhanyan, former Karabakh army commander Lev Mnatsakanyan and his deputy David Manukyan, as well as former "state minister" Ruben Vardanyan.
All these persons are accused of committing anti-state crimes, criminal cases have been initiated against them under many articles of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan. ---02D---
