Ruben Vardanyan urges Karabakh people to take an example from a well-known terrorist
Baku/19.12.22/Turan: Russian businessman Ruben Vardanyan, who calls himself the "head of government" of Karabakh, called on fellow countrymen to follow the example of the famous terrorist Monte Melkonyan. Today, on his Twitter account, Vardanyan posted a video of Melkonyan dated December 1992. He accompanied this video with the following text: “1992, Martuni, Artsakh, Nagorno-Karabakh, Monte makes sure that the fuel is fairly distributed to avoid a crisis. Crisis management is part of life in Artsakh. Although we are in a blockade because of Azerbaijan, people here know how to overcome the crisis.”
The very fact that Vardanyan turned to the personality of a well-known terrorist best of all illustrates his political predilections.
*Monte Melkonyan is one of the leaders of the terrorist organization ASALA. It was destroyed by soldiers of the 708th brigade of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces in June 1993 in the village of Marzili, Agdam region.
In the mid-80s, Melkonyan organized a terrorist attack at the Orly airport in Paris, where five people were killed and there were previously more than 10 people.
Prior to that, Melkonyan personally shot several Turkish diplomats in various European cities.
In 1990, he was extradited by the French authorities of Armenia at the request of Armenian President Levon Ter-Petrosyan, and soon arrived in Karabakh, where he began an armed struggle against Azerbaijan. ---02B---
