Russian convoys take out the dead bodies of their soldiers, Ambassador of Ukraine
On Wednesday Ukrainian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Alexander Mishchenko held a press conference about the current situation in Ukraine. Referring to the results of the recent parliamentary elections, he stressed that the Parliament neither the extreme left or extreme right were included the parliament.
Pro-Russian regions won about 10% of the vote, and the parliament failed to pass the Communists.
"The parliamentary elections won the parties, committed to the course of European integration. Ukrainian people united around European values,"- he said. Speaking about the situation in the east of Ukraine, Ambassador accused Russia of escalating tensions in the region. Despite promises not to recognize the results of the so-called elections in Lugansk and Donetsk, these promises are not fulfilled by Russia. The reason is that the parliamentary elections in Ukraine took place not according to the Russian scenario. "Therefore, in Lugansk and Donetsk separatists held their elections, and announced the establishment of Lugansk and Donetsk National Republics, although their terrorist nature has not changed," he said.
Mishchenko also said that Ukraine appealed to Azerbaijan as a country has experienced the tragedy of separatism with an appeal not to recognize the separatist entities in Lugansk and Donetsk. "Though Russia tries to deny or hide, it is no secret that behind these separatists is Russia," said the Ambassador.
Rocket launchers by separatists, heavy artillery and tanks belong to Russia, and it is for these international sanctions were applied to Russia.
"As for caravans with humanitarian aid from Russia, they take away the bodies of Russian soldiers. Kremlin hides these facts from the Russian people, but the time will come when the Kremlin will not be able to avoid people's wrath," said Mishchenko, noting that the number of dead Ukrainian soldiers reached 4000.
As a result of the annexation of the Crimea military actions in the eastern Ukraine, over 440,000 people were displaced. To solve this problem, Ukraine should appeal to Azerbaijan’s experience. For this reason the ambassador met with Chairman of the State Committee for Refugees, Ali Hasanov.
Alexander Mishchenko said that the international community supports Ukraine, which is waiting from the international community not weapons, but the stop of the aggressor. -05C04-
