The talks between the presidents of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, Ilham Aliyev and Islam Karimov in Baku resulted in signing three.
The presidents signed a joint statement. In addition, the program of cooperation between the foreign ministries of the two countries for 2013-2015 have been confirmed, and inter-governmental joint action plan on economic cooperation for 2012-15 years has been confirmed. President Ilham Aliyev has approved by decree the Azerbaijan-Kazakh intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in military intelligence defense sector. The document was signed in Baku on 7 June 2024.
