Baku/23.06.23/Turan: Special quarantine regime in Azerbaijan has been prolonged once again, now till 2 October.
A decree to this effect was signed today by Prime Minister Ali Asadov.
At the same time, the document does not explain the reason for extending the quarantine regime, while the World Health Organization has already announced the end of the pandemic coronavirus infection. The extension of the quarantine regime also means that the country's land borders will continue to be closed. -06В-

November 17 is celebrated in Azerbaijan as National Revival Day. On November 17, 1988 uninterrupted rallies began on the main square of Baku - "Azadliq" (former Lenin Square - ed.) with the demand to ensure the sovereignty over Karabakh. Norwegian Minister of International Development, Anne Beathe Tvinnereim, who traveled to Baku for COP29, met with political prisoner Gubad Ibadoglu, a professor at the London School of Economics and Dresden University of Technology, who is currently under police surveillance and under house arrest.
