Swiss National Day Reception to Be Held at The Landmark
Baku / 28.06.18 / Turan: On June 27, the Landmark Hotel hosted a reception on the occasion of the National Day of the Swiss Confederation.
Speaking at the event, the Ambassador of Switzerland, H.E. Philipp Stadler said the National Day of Switzerland is celebrated on August 1, but at this time many people are away. For this reason, it was decided to postpone the date of the celebration.
The second reason for the fact that it was chosen on June 27, the Ambassador called holding a football match on this day within the framework of the World Cup between the teams of Switzerland and Costa Rica.
"Television screens are everywhere, I'm sure that we'll see this match together as part of our celebration," the Ambassador said, addressing numerous guests.
He also urged those present to visit Switzerland and get acquainted with the sights and beautiful nature of their country.
