On October 8, the Court of Appeal, chaired by Mirza Tagizadeh, considered the complaint of Jamil Hasanli, the presidential candidate of the National Council. The complaint was filed against the Central Election Commission that registered Ilham Aliyev as a candidate for president for a third term. The court dismissed the complaint. The presidential candidate of the National Council of Democratic Forces, Jamil Gasanli, sued the CEC for the refusal to make a public declaration of incomes of presidential candidates .
The complaint will be considered in the Baku Court of Appeal on October 8, Gasanli’s proxy, head of the NGO "Center for Law and Development," Hafiz Hasanov told Turan. – 06B -

President Ilham Aliyev has approved by decree the Azerbaijan-Kazakh intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in military intelligence defense sector. The document was signed in Baku on 7 June 2024.
