The court remanded the former head of Bilasuvar
Baku/25.08.21/Turan: A preparatory meeting was held in the Lankaran court for serious crimes in the case of the former head of the executive power of the Bilasuvar region, Mahir Guliyev.
At the preparatory meeting, Guliyev's personal data were clarified. The court did not grant the request to change the preventive measure to house arrest. The hearings on the merits are scheduled for September 2.
It should be recalled that Guliyev was arrested in April 2020. He is charged with financial violations, embezzlement and abuse of official powers.—06D-
