Health workers and persons all over 60s are offered to get vaccinated with the third dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
Baku/25.08.21/Turan: In Azerbaijan, all medical workers and persons 60 plus, as well as those with the weakened immune system vaccinated with two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, are recommended to get vaccinated with a third (booster) dose. This is stated in a joint statement of the Ministry of Health , the State Agency for Compulsory Medical Insurance and the Association for Management of Territorial Medical Units.

As part of the struggle against illegal migration in Baku city, operative actions were carried out at different addresses. The Interior Ministry reports that employees of the Department for Combating Illegal Migration identified and detained 34 foreigners without documents giving the right to reside and stay on the territory of Azerbaijan.
