The head of the company who stolen million means in the Bank Standard is arrested
Baku/27.07.17/Turan: The General Directorate for Combating Corruption under the Prosecutor General's Office announced the disclosure of the next financial fraud of former Bank Standard CEO Salim Kriman. This time the investigation revealed that the theft of banking was made through Harvest, which was headed by a certain Emin Guliyev.
The company was created on the initiative of Kriman for the purpose of stealing funds. According to Kriman's scheme, 10.749 million manat was allocated for the acquisition of 30 percent of the shares of Azerkarton company and completion of construction works of Harvest company, of which 3.091 million manat was appropriated by agreement. These funds were allocated by Harvest on the basis of several contracts from the bank's funds, including funds from external and internal investors and deposits.
In addition, under the patronage of Kriman, several loan agreements for the amount of 8.588 million manat were allocated to Guliyev, who were also divided and appropriated by the parties.
Guliyev was charged under the Articles 179.3.2 (embezzlement or embezzlement on a large scale) and 308.2 (abuse of office) of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan. By a court decision, a preventive measure in the form of arrest was chosen in his respect.
Operative-investigative measures to establish other guilty persons, as well as to ensure compensation for the damage sustained, continue.
In connection with the loan default "Bank Standart" was arrested the head of the company "Chudo Pechka" Chingiz Jalilov. On the basis of credit agreements, Chingiz Jalilov together with Salim Kriman appropriated 1.396.200 manat . -05D-
